SEPTEMBER 2007 ~ Winner of the Bodyshop Magazine 2007 ‘Customer Care Award’

SMB is proud to announce that at the 2007 National Bodyshop Magazine Awards ceremony, we were the successful winners of the prestigious ‘Customer Care’ category, beating over 40 other applicants nationwide.

We are understandably delighted with this accolade and pride ourselves on having won this as a result of us having put you, the customer first. We have listened to you and responded to your feedback. We believe it was this commitment, combined with the service we provide, that ultimately lead to our successful win.

As a measure of this promise, we are constantly looking at additional ways in which we can improve on the services we provide. We have developed additional opportunities to enhance your repair experience that ultimately, will be of overall benefit yourself.

At present if your claim is processed through an insurance company, then the repairs we carry out to your vehicle are restricted to the damage relevant to that claim. Therefore, if your vehicle carries additional blemishes or damage that you might like addressing we would be unable to include this work in your claim.

We have listened to feedback from our customers and as a result of this know that a lot of car owners would like to take advantage of being able to restore their vehicle to an all round pristine condition. The added convenience of this being done whilst the vehicle is in a body shop undergoing other repairs clearly makes sense!

When you bring your vehicle in for repair, we will not restrict our work to the accident damage relevant to your claim, but look more closely at your vehicle and if necessary, offer additional services to restore your car to an even better ‘all-round’ condition. This may just be a matter of removing other minor indentations or marks to the bodywork but it could also extend to other refurbishment, for example to alloy wheels. Individual work of this nature ordinarily comes as quite a high price but as your vehicle is already conveniently placed in our bodyshop, we will be able to offer this work at considerably reduced rates.

We are now in a position to offer the ultimate in vehicle protection to paintwork and upholstery with GardX Protection. Further information on this exceptional product can be found at www.gardx.co.uk. We also now offer a full valet service over and above the wash and ‘vac’ included in the repair process. So you can now have your repaired vehicle returned to you in showroom condition.
